We will all have many memories of Grandad and the sea. He started his working life on the docks, but for his grandchildren and great grandchildren the happiest memories we will probably have are of many a summer's day spent at his and Grandma's caravan at Bridlington. Spending time on the beach with him, walking along the cliff top with him and just generally enjoying the summer with him mean that we will always associate him with the sea and therefore I thought this would be a fitting memorial in his name.
